Did you know that the American Montessori Society offers a scholarship for those who have been accepted into an AMS-affiliated Montessori teacher education program? ADMTEI is proud to say that past winners of this scholarship have attended our early childhood credential program!
Applicants for the AMS scholarship “are considered on the basis of financial need, a compelling personal statement, 3 letters of recommendation, and official verification of acceptance into an AMS-affiliated program. Recipients are selected by a committee…,” according to the AMS website.
The first step to become eligible for the scholarship is to apply our program (or any other AMS-affiliated teacher education program) and be accepted. The second step is to apply for the AMS scholarship. Because the AMS scholarship deadline is May 1 of each year, we encourage interested persons to apply to our program early, preferably by April 1. Please see our helpful “Timeline for Applying” for details.
