Tuition Schedule
Application Fee: $100 – The Adult Learner Application Fee secures enrollment in the program and satisfies the costs associated with that process. Please note that all adult learner applications require this application fee. You may pay by check or money order (made out to Adrian Montessori Teacher Education Institute), via PayPal (see our Application Page for details) or call the office to use a credit card. The application fee is non-refundable.
Practicum Requirement: $1,300 – The Practicum phase of the program may be completed concurrently with Academic phase or immediately following it. However, the costs associated with the Practicum requirement are included in the total cost of tuition and are paid for during the Academic phase.
Academic Requirement: $4,700 – The Academic portion of the program is offered on the campus of Siena Heights College, in the lower level of the Maureen M. McLaughlin Center For Health Professionals. This portion of the tuition satisfies the cost of a lectures, manuals, handouts, demonstrative tools and associated materials.
Total Cost of Tuition $6,100
Please Note: The tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if the applicant is rejected by the school before enrollment (See Tuition Refund Policy on the Tuition Contract). The application fee is non-refundable.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION: PLEASE NOTE
Federal student loans are unavailable to our students/enrollees because Adrian Montessori Teacher Education Institute is not funded by the U.S. government.
Private loans can be obtained through a personal financial institution such as a bank or credit union. If you cannot afford to pay the full cost of tuition up front, Adrian Montessori Teacher Education Institute recommends that you secure an outside loan.
SCHOLARSHIPS
American Montessori Society Scholarships
Every year the American Montessori Society awards teacher education scholarships to aspiring Montessori teachers in support of their professional growth. The application dates for an AMS scholarship are February through mid-April. Adrian Montessori Teacher Education Institute Scholarships
The Adrian Montessori Teacher Education Institute has limited partial scholarships of $500.00 and $1,000.00 available. The scholarships are awarded and based on need. Scholarship monies would be paid directly to the Institute toward your tuition. The application timeframe for this scholarship is from January through June. Please contact admtei.debra@gmail.com to request an application. All scholarships will be awarded in June.
A credential cannot be issued to anyone who has not met tuition responsibilities; this is required by the American Montessori Society (AMS). The student is liable for all costs incurred for the collection of past due accounts. Accounts requiring collection action will be liable for attorney fees and costs. We do not anticipate the student’s failure to meet the terms of her/his tuition contract.
